Chloe Cuthbert’s Role at Donoghue Solicitors
Miss Cuthbert represents claimants in civil litigation, with a particular interest in cases involving:

Chloe’s cases involve many distinct aspects of civil law. For example, she helps clients who have:
- suffered serious sexual and/or physical abuse at the hands of the police and others in positions of authority
- been arrested and/ or unlawfully detained due to errors with police and court warrants
- kept in prison (including on remand) for longer than legally required.
Miss Cuthbert is well-versed in these difficult matters and carefully guides her clients through them, liaising with her colleagues where appropriate.
Her expertise is particularly useful when helping clients claim sexual abuse compensation. For example, navigating the complicated Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority scheme rules is both an art and a science. The difference between success and failure can rest on the expertise of the lawyer involved. Miss Cuthbert’s results speak for themselves. With Chloe’s help, genuine victims of sexual abuse have recovered tens of thousands of pounds compensation.

Like all the lawyers at Donoghue Solicitors, Chloe has her own clients and assists her colleagues with their cases too. She works especially closely with our solicitor director, Kevin Donoghue. Mr Donoghue personally handles high-profile cases of national importance, which you can read about here. Miss Cuthbert is a trusted, and vital, part of his team. She is skilled at seeking out evidence and determined when pursuing it. Chloe knows what it takes to build, and present, a solid legal case.

Professional Accreditations and Memberships
Chloe Cuthbert is a CILEX Member – Advanced Paralegal.
She has a strong academic background, having studied law for many years. Chloe earned an LLB.(Hons) law degree at UCLAN. From there, she went to the prestigious University of Law in Manchester to complete the Legal Practice Course. Since then, Miss Cuthbert has taken, and passed, all of CILEX’s rigorous exams to qualify as a Chartered Legal Executive. She continues her legal education at Donoghue Solicitors with on-the-job training and anticipates becoming a Chartered Legal Executive (known as a “Fellow” by CILEX) in early 2024.

Chloe was born and raised in Liverpool. She attended St Edmund Arrowsmith in Whiston and Cronton College for A-Levels before university.
Outside of work, Chloe enjoys travelling and working out at the gym.
